TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 - Kruger Park/Mpumalanga Province.
We departure early from Pretoria or Johannesburg. As we travel towards Mpumalanga Province in the eastern side of the country, we descend in the afternoon the eastern escarpment of the Drakensberg Mountains and travel via the Lowveld. We use the Panorama route on the way. We will also pass by coal mines, magnificent mountainscapes, escarpments and indigenous and exotic trees, along the way. exploring living history in the form of Pilgrim’s Rest, the old mining village where gold was first discovered in 1873; enjoy the spectacular view from God’s Window, drive through forested mountains and fertile plains. On arrival, after settleling in our hotel, you have an option to depart for a game drive in a Sunset open vehicle game drive with ranger.
Day 2 - Kruger Park .
Wake up call very early. Depart for our sunrise Game drive in our own vehicle (Sanparks open vehicle Game Drive optional). Most of the time the best time to spot one of the major predators before they settle down. Breakfast and lunch at one of the kruger national parks camps. The whole day is spend at the kruger national park looking for the Big 5 and identifying the many cretaures we meet. At around 16:00 we exit the park.
Day 3 Panorama - Johannesburg or Pretoria
Today after breakfast we visit places of interest on the Panorama Route. The Panorama route is a scenic road in South Africa that connects many important cultural and natural points of interest and is situated in the Mpumalanga province. The route is centred around the Blyde River Canyon and includes many waterfalls and other natural landmarks. visit the famous “Three Rondavels” in Blyde River Canyon, one of the natural wonders of Africa and the Bourke’s Luck Potholes. After visiting sites we hadn't visited,we journey back to Pretoria or Johannesburg
